Vulnerability is hard.
As I sit here trying to come up with compelling reasons and flowery words to attract the best writers to the Monster publications, I find myself coming up completely blank. No stories, no emotions popping out to greet my fingertips. The blank screen awaiting a mark- any mark that would brighten up the white space. We've all been there. It's not exactly writer's block, but a total lack of direction.
Where could I possibly go that would be vulnerable enough to connect with the right writers?
Truthfully, I have no good anecdotes to lure people in. All I have is a burning desire to pull together a community of distinct publications, each with its own separate focus. And the knowledge that I am incapable of doing this alone.
